Toiletry Plant

API Consumer Brands' toiletry plant is a purpose-built wet production toiletry manufacturing and packing plant with DI water and CIP systems to ensure cleanliness and product quality.

The toiletries R&D department is characterised by the latest equipment and highly qualified staff. Computer integrated instrumentation allows our researchers to conduct a wide variety of physical, chemical and biological analysis with relative ease.

The plant is set up to manufacture the following types of product:

Hot Manufacture

Lotions and creams can be produced in a wide variety of tank and kettle combinations.

Batch size = 100 to 3000kgs

 

Cold Manufacture 

Gels and surfactant products can be produced in a wide variety of tanks.

Batch size = 100 to 3000kgs

 

Dangerous Goods 

Alcohol, acetone and other class 3 dangerous goods can be manufactured in the licensed DG area.

Batch size = 100 to 2500kgs

The plant can pack the above manufactured products as follows:

Piston Fillers 

We have a twin, a four and six head filler mounted on filling lines with cappers and labellers, plus five single head fillers which can be mounted on any of our conveyor systems. These fillers pack all hot fill products and the majority of small run lotions and creams.
Fill range = 25 to 500gm
Fill speed = 6 to 30 units per minute

 

Kalishtronic 

A four head gear pump filler with auto capper and double sided labeller. This is used to fill long production run products and promotional packs.
Fill range = 15 to 600gm
Fill speed = 15 to 30 units per minute

 

Kugler 

An eight head vacuum filler with single sided labeller. This is used to fill Meths and class 3 dangerous goods.
Fill range = 50 to 500mL
Fill speed = 10 to 20 units per minute

 

Vacuum Fillers 

We have four multi head vacuum fillers that can be mounted on any of our conveyor systems. These fillers pack nail enamel remover, peroxide, chloroform and other dangerous goods.
Fill range = 50 to 500mL
Fill speed = 5 to 12 units per minute

 

Tube Fillers

We have three plastic tube filling machines.

Fill range = 25 to 200gm

Fill Speed = 5 to 12 units per minute
